I recently had robotic radical prostatectomy surgery performed by Mr Nair. He is an amazing surgeon as well as a very personable consultant. He took the time to go through all the options with me once I had been diagnosed with prostate cancer following the tests he sent me for. He answered all my questions in person as well as more questions via phone calls & emails. His whole team were amazing including the anaesthetists & nurses at HCA Guys Cancer Centre then the nurses for the aftercare appointments as well as his secretaries, front of house & catering staff. I never had any pain which is great testament to the fantastic treatment I received.

I have been under the care of Mr Rajesh Nair and his team for a while now. He has kept me informed prior, during and after treatment, which is well appreciated on my side. He has a kind and professional manner which makes you at ease while asking questions in particular.

Dr. Rajesh Nair is the best urologist I have ever had in my life and is an extremely compassionate human being. From time I was admitted at the London Bridge Hospital at Guy’s on 17 August 2023 where he successfully performed a difficult robotic kidney surgery up to the time when I was discharged and after I was discharged until this day 17 January 2024 he continuously followed up on my health condition and improvements. I am short of words in expressing my appreciation and thanks to Dr. Nair and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone with kidney and balder problems.

I was referred by my oncologist to Mr Nair to remove my kidney (I had stage 4 renal cancer). My first appointment was a revelation. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic as well as being supportive and encouraging. He filled me with hope and excitement (I know it is a strange thing to say but it was true). He was efficient and turned letters around quickly and once the operation was authorised by my insurer it took place on the 19 December. The operation was a success and the cancerous kidney and its various invasions were removed. The care I received from him and his team was amazing. I was speaking to my husband on the phone at 1.30 after the operation that morning. I was out of bed and walking the next day and was home on the 5th day (in time for Christmas). The whole experience was amazing, although it was a very invasive operation (my spleen was removed as well) I always felt supported and cared for which has helped my recovery. I had my clips taken out on the 5 January so now the long journey back to health begins, he is keeping an eye on me for the next year but I believe that without his amazing skill and dedication I would be facing a less hopeful future. Mr Nair is a surgeon I would thoroughly recommend..

I was very impressed with Mr Nair from the initial consultation, the in hospital care, to the telephone consultation after I was discharged. I wish to thank his whole team who were involved in my procedure. Such a refreshing personality that puts you at ease from the start.
